Zerrin: Just a quick note to let you know that we had the BEST time in Turkey thanks to you. Our travel arrangements were wonderful and we were able to see all that we wanted to see before heading over to island hop in Greece. Thank you so much for the suggestions and the work you did to put together a great time for us in your country. Turkey people are soooooooooooooo nice and we love apple tea. I added a photo of us on our personal boat tour. Thanks again and we hope you are enjoying the rest of your summer. Lori and Dan Katlein Katlein, Lori - katlelo@lc-ps.org

I was travelling in Turkey last year and booked all my travel through Walkabout Travel Turkey www.walkabout.com.tr They were fantastic. I wanted to be all good and be a real backpacker but it was so brilliant to have all the basics like transport, accommodation and attractions found for me, allowing me to do all the fun and interesting things. All the people in the office went out of their way to make sure I had the best trip possible and loved all my stories when I returned to Istanbul. Dear Ali, Thank you for a wonderfully organized tour of your fabulous country. We had such a great time and it was due in great part to your talent as an organizer. We were able to see three great cities in Turkey and then made it without any problems to Syria. We thought a lot about you in Syria because, as you said, it is a much more primitive country. Aleppo is very beautiful: the Citadel is out of this world. We took the train from Aleppo to Latakya, intending to go to the beach, but from the looks we got, we decided to continue on straight to Damascus! In Damascus, we found my relatives and saw the room where my father and uncle were born. So, Ali, it was a great trip and we will come back when it is a little cooler so John can come. Greetings from New Jersey, where you will be most welcome when you come. Thanks again for all you did for us, Nelda, Estela and Julian

Hey Ali! How are you? Do you remember us? We were the three from Amsterdam that enjoyed a walking tour with you - and luckily took the flight back to Amsterdam on Thursday..... Sorry it took a while to post the pictures, some of which you took - below is a link to see them. Given our enthusiastic stories of Istanbul, my parents are now planning a trip to visit Istanbul end of next week. I recommended to them to take a private tour with you, because it\'s good quality and reasonable price ;-) Could you send them some information (CC:) so they can consider their options? Many thanks - we still remember walkabout and Istanbul vividly, it was a great trip for us! All the best, Peter, Vivian and Adrian.

Mr. Mustafa, Just sending you a message to thank you again for your travel services when we were in Turkey recently. The itinerary was great and everything went smoothly. I\'ve decided I\'m past the stage of doing overnight bus rides, but, other than that, I wouldn\'t have changed a thing! We enjoyed the hospitality the people of Turkey showed us and marvelled at the rich history of the country. Best regards.

Bursa Hotels - Turkey Packages, Turkey Tours, Istanbul Sightseeing Tours by Walkabout Travel

Bursa Hotels in Turkey

Bursa was the first capital (late 1200s-early 1300s) of the Ottoman Empire. The two founding sultans, Orhan and Osman, are buried here, and this is where the empire's great architectural style was first developed.Bursa city has history, charming villages, sporting opportunities on Mount Uludag, good food (two local inventions, Iskender kebap and Inegol köfte, made significant contributions to Turkish cuisine), good Bursa hotels, and shopping opportunities, Bursa's traditional industries of silk weaving and fruit processing. Many travelers only spend a day here, on the way from Istanbul to the south and west coasts or Cappadocia, but once you're here, there's a good chance you'll want to stay longer, so plan your Turkey and Bursa travels ahead with Walkabout .

Bursa hotels can be divided into three categories:

Bursa Spa Hotels

On Bursa's western outskirts is Cekirge, a thermal spa resort since Roman times, with many spa hotels and bathing establishments.

Uludag Hotels

Uludag National Park is Turkey's most popular ski resort.Uludag has more than 30 hotels in diffrent styles, resorts, 3,4,5 star hotels and boutique hotels.

Hotels on Marmara Sea

Along the southern coast of Marmara sea near the Gemlik Gulf sorrounded with olive trees ,closer to Yalova and Bursa cities, There are many small size old towns not visited alot by tourists , still beautiful and full of old wooden houses  and mansions, old Turkish  baths, and spa hotels  and more.

Tours to Bursa

You can visit Bursa on a day-trip from Istanbul if you plan in advance, but it's more relaxed if you stay overnight. That way you can also see the medieval town of Iznik (Nicaea) on the way to Bursa , and you may have time for a quick cable car ride to the top of Uludag (2543 meters, 8343 feet), the mountain behind the city.

The city clings to the slopes of Uludag, the Bithynian Mount Olympus, and thus got its nickname Green Bursa from the surrounding forests. Now a large, bustling city, much of the greenery has disappeared beneath the urban sprawl. Bursa's traditional industries of silk weaving and fruit processing have long since been supplemented by motor vehicle manufacturing and other industry.

Walkabout Travel’s Bursa hotels page arranged to display a  wide variety of Bursa Hotels for every taste.

We have listed many Bursa Hotels, easy booking for all cetegory hotels with in and around Bursa with location, category and information and large Bursa hotel pictures.
