Bakkhos is a good starting point for visiting all kinds of different cultural sites, walking and exploring the beautiful untouched spots, which this Aegean coast of Turkey still has.

In the Spring the abundance of wild flowers decorating our views is spectacular and in the Autumn the richness and play of coulours is magnificient. During the summer months, because of our location, we enjoy a wonderful breeze coming up from the valley providing a continuous rejuvenating freshness. The flora with its variety and colours and the number of birds is unbelievable.We are proud on our typical turkish local cuisine, another advantage to taste a different culture! Bakkhos, our guesthouse is a must for people who love nature, peace and want to enjoy the good things life brings.

Bakkhos guesthouse will be open between November and half April but only on bed & breakfast basis. In general the weather is soft, especially in autumn and early spring there is more change for catching some sun than Europe! Excessively suitable for visiting the archaeological sites like Ephese with Selcuk, Priene, Miletos, Didyma, Claros and Notion, Heracleia at Bafa lake, Panionion etc. But also you can make nice trips to a.o. Sirince, an old greek village situated up in the green mountains above Selcuk, the other old greek village of Domatia or now called Eski Doganbey in the protected nature-reserve of Millipark are also worth while, to pay a visit, especially out of season. There are various local traditional markets in Selcuk, Soke and more authentic :Tire. And Kusadasi has twice per week a nice market as well. We are offering you the possibility to stay in the winter; our rooms can be warmed with the split-airco system. Our comfortable cosy lobby too, here we will serve your breakfast and here you will find a small mini-bar with all kind of drinks, a kettle for making coffee and tea, so when you stay “at home” you can serve yourself. Kusadasi has a lot of restaurants, tavernas, cafeterias which are normally open in wintermonths.
