It was built with the money bequeathed by Emilio Vitalis, the italian vice-consul in the 1890s. The Canakkale Onsekizmart University exhibition center lies opposite of Anzac Hotel. This building was former Italian Consulate. ‘Cimenlik Castle’ (built by Mehmet the conqueror , the Ottomon Sultan in about 1462) & the Naval Museum (mainly devoted to photos, newspapers, & artifacts connected with Gallipoli Campaign) are just 200 meter away from the Anzac Hotel. A replica of the orginal form of Nusret minelayer battleship also lies in the Cimenlik Park, where both Cimenlik Castle & Naval Museum take place. For those, who want to trace their ancestors in Gallipoli Campaign, Commonwealth War Graves Commission office (CWGC) is also very close to the Anzac Hotel. After passing the ferry jetty square, about 100 meters after, Commonwealth War Grave Commission office appears on the third floor of an Apartment near the Pier Cafe.

Quad room is available for families & Youths by providing a standard extra bed in the Triple room.
