Travel Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival to Istanbul.
Welcome to Turkey! You’re greeted upon arrival and escorted to your hotel located in the Old City area-Sultanahmet. According to your arrival time you can either check in to the hotel and relax or check out the Old city area.
Overnight in Istanbul. Meals: No

DAY 2: Istanbul – Old City Full Day Tour
After having breakfast at the Hotel, Our guide meets you and we start our day trip around 09:00 am
We see how old meets new when you visit Istanbul’s five “must-see" historic sites. The sites include:
Hippodrome of Constantinople.
At Meydanı, was a horse-racing track that was the sporting and social centre of Constantinople, capital of the Byzantine Empire and the largest city in Europe. Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpentine Column, and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are visited.
Blue Mosque
One of the most famous monuments in both the Turkish and Islamic worlds, the Sultan Ahmet Mosque (also known as the Blue Mosque) is a superb creation in the classical Ottoman style. The mosque has six towering minarets and 260 windows illuminating its vast main chamber, which is decorated with more than 20,000 Iznik tiles.
Hagia Sophia
Now a museum, Hagia Sophia was built in the 6th century by the Emperor Justinian, and was one of the largest basilicas in the Christian world. After the Ottoman conquest, it was converted to a mosque and is today one of the most magnificent museums in the world. Take a moment to linger here to admire the fine Byzantine mosaics.
Grand Bazaar
In operation since the 14th century, the Grand Bazaar is one of the world's largest covered markets, with 58 streets and over 4,000 shops. The bazaar is specially known for its jewelry, leather, pottery, spices and carpets.

Topkapı Palace
The largest and oldest palace in the world, Topkapi is the crown jewel of the Ottoman Empire. With its harem (additional cost), treasury and exotic buildings overlooking the Golden Horn, your visit to Topkapi promises to be a truly fascinating experience.

DAY 3: Bosphorus Cruise - Half Day Morning Tour
After having breakfast at the Hotel, Our guide meets you and we continue for;
Golden Horn
It is an inlet of the Bosporus dividing the city of Istanbul and forming a natural harbour. One can see the old city and Galata tower panoramically while cruising from
Spice Bazaar
It is located nearby New Mosque, close to Golden Horn. This is a bazaar where you can find numerous kind of spices, dried fruits, nuts and seeds and also many other things.
Bosporus Cruise
Cruise through the waterway separating the two continents, Europe and Asia, with a possibility to take photographs of marble palaces, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture besides modern residential and luxurious apartments.
Rest of the day will be for your leisure or your own discoveries
Overnight in Istanbul. Meals: (B)

DAY 4: North Cappadocia
Early morning pick up from hotel. Transfer to airport in Istanbul
Flight to Kayseri. Pick up from airport and continue to;
* Uchisar, a photo stop nearby the Uchisar castle and introduction of volcanic area with. Enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of Fairy Chimneys.
* Goreme Open Air Museum, houses many painted frescoes cave-churches.
* Pasabagi, the best place to see three-headed fairy chimneys
* Avanos, famous for the pottery and painted tiles in Turkey. You can see pottery being made, including the old techniques, and even try your hand on the potter’s wheel.
* Devrent Valley, a lunar landscape and animal shaped pink rocks.
* Urgup’s Fairy Chimneys, with caps and conical shaped body and a boulder on top of it. End of tour, transfer to hotel.
Overnight in Cappadocia. Meals: (B-L)

DAY 5: South Cappadocia
Morning pick up from hotel and continue to ;
* Goreme Panorama, a stop for the panoramic view of Goreme Valley.
* Underground City, A complex of joint caves built by the Christians to hide from possible attacks. This city has over one hundred tunnels under the ground.
* Ihlara Valley, enjoy an easy hike through part of the valley along the Melendiz stream, look up and see many of Roman churches, chapels, monasteries and hermits’ caves. The 16 km long valley, through volcanic rock was a result of several eruptions of Mount Hasan.
* Selime Castle, located at the northern opening of the Ihlara Valley. It has a great view looking down the valley. The complexes were carved into volcanic rock outcroppings during the Byzantine period.
Return flight to Istanbul or continue to your next destination.
* Pigeon Valley, named after the thousands of pigeon houses carved into the rocks.
End of tour, transfer to Kayseri airport for evening flight back to Istanbul. Transfer to your hotel in Istanbul
Overnight in Istanbul. Meals: (B-L)

DAY 6: Ephesus
Early morning pick up from hotel. Transfer to airport in Istanbul
Flight to Izmir. Pick up from airport and continue to;
* Ephesus tour starts from the upper entrance gate. The Baths of Varius, Odeon, Prytaneion, Fountain of Polio, The Gate of Heracles State Agora, Temple of Hadrian, Temple of Domitian, Library of Celsius, Great Theatre and Harbour Street with the Necropolis will be visited.
* The Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of ancient world was a famous place of pilgrimage for centuries.
* House of the Virgin Mary, Discovered in a vision by a bedridden German nun in 1812, this stone building is believed by many Catholics and Muslims to be where the Virgin Mary lived her last years. There is also a healing fountain.
End of tour, transfer to Izmir airport for evening flight back to Istanbul.
Transfer to your hotel in Istanbul
Overnight in Istanbul. Meals: (B-L)

DAY 7: Departure Transfer
After breakfast at the hotel you may ask our office for other options while enjoying tea with us.
Depending on your departure time, transfer to Airport for your return flight. Meals ( B)
