We Pick you up at the cruise ship pier. Drive to the Old City to visit :
Konak Square which is famous for the clock tower, one of the unique smybols of Izmir. The heart of the city beats here. It is surrounded by the Izmir Bay and Karşıyaka in the north Walk around at Kordon, Alsancak. You can walk around beside the Aegaen Sea.
Then Visit Izmir Archaeological Museum, it has saloons devoted to the exhibition of big archaeological monuments found during excavations from Ephesus,Smyrna,Foca and others.it has also rooms for Hellenistic ,Roman, Byzantion and Otoman period exhibitions.
We go on with Kemeralti: A must see. A big bazaar, where you can buy clothes, presents etc. There are also a lot of lounges where you can sit. Kizlaragasi Hani An old kervansaray in Kemeralti where you can shop for carpets and jewelry
Drive to Kadifekale - ancient Velvet castle on which the acropolis of Lysimachos once stood rises over the east side of Izmir (access road signposted). The summit, crowned by the remains of a medieval citadel, offers an incomparable panoramic view encompassing the whole city, the Gulf of Izmir and the hills.
Izmir Agora Open Air Museum was the commercial, judicial and political nucleus of the ancient city, its center for artistic activities and for teaching.it consists of five parts, including the agora area, the base of the northern basilica gate, the stoa and the ancient shopping centre.
